A Dickens Holiday is free, and stays free because people give. Your gift helps light the procession, pay the performers, and keep the whole day open to everyone.
Downtown Creative Works, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. No goods, services, tickets, admissions, merchandise, sponsorship benefits, or other items of value are provided in exchange for your gift. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What your gift supports
Your gift pays for the things that make a free festival possible: the candlelight procession, the performers, the accessibility that lets everyone take part, and the year-round work of putting the day together.
Giving information
By cheque
Make it payable to Downtown Creative Works, Inc. Post it to P.O. Box 53133, Fayetteville, NC 28305. A cheque costs us nothing to accept, which makes it the best way to give a small gift — or a very large one.
Larger gifts, donor-advised funds, and stock
For a larger gift, a grant recommended from a donor-advised fund, a gift of stock, a qualified charitable distribution from an IRA, or any other arrangement, write to info@downtowncreativeworks.org and we will send whatever your administrator or adviser asks for.
This season
Downtown Creative Works takes part in GivingTuesday, and our local giving campaign begins November 23.
If a gift was a mistake
If a gift was made in error or in the wrong amount, write to us within 30 days and we will refund it in full. A refunded gift is removed from your giving record and any receipt for it is void.
Write to info@downtowncreativeworks.org and tell us what happened. We would rather fix a mistake than keep a gift somebody did not mean to make.
Your details
We keep your name, email address, and the record of your gift, because a charity has to be able to substantiate what it received and send you a receipt. Your card number never reaches us — it goes straight to our payment processor.
We do not sell, rent, or trade donor information, and we do not publish your name unless you ask us to. To see what we hold about you or ask us to remove you from our mailing, write to info@downtowncreativeworks.org.
