Performers
Help bring Victorian Fayetteville to life.
A Dickens Holiday is filled with carolers, costumed characters, musicians, and street performers all day and into Dickens After Dark. If you'd love to perform, we'd love to hear from you.
Performers & acts we look for
Anything that adds wonder to a winter street — traditional or surprising. A few ideas:
- Carolers and choral groups
- Musicians and instrumentalists
- Costumed Dickens characters and street performers
- Dancers and theatrical acts
- Live visual artists — painters, chalk artists, caricaturists, portrait sketchers
- Craft demonstrations — calligraphy, glassblowing, woodcarving, ornament-making
- Live demos & making — including live coding (generative holiday visuals, projected art)
- Festive competitions & demos — speed gift-wrapping, speed-stacking (cups), cookie decorating
- Magicians, jugglers, stilt-walkers, fire performers, balloon artists
- Storytellers and poetry readings (think Dickens by candlelight)
- Strolling entertainers, carolers-for-hire, and roaming character actors
Have an idea that isn’t on the list? We’d still love to hear it — pick “Other” below.
